I am a Michigan sports fan.

Herein lies the dilemma. I am, and have been a displaced Michigan sports fan caught up in the bullshit of following a career for the last 11 years. Stuck chasing false promises that life is greener on the business side of making someone else richer, I have been able to piss off so many fans of other teams. With hats, jerseys and loud mouth arrogance that every team fan can deliver, I have had the privilege to bring it Detroit-style to thousands in foreign arenas, stadiums and local pubs around the world. Yes, I rocked my English "D" in England (white and orange in the same day). NYC mistakes my hat for a Yankers hat at first glance. Going in alphabetical order by largest market first, all of them suck and can eat my English D while I rock it out in them.

I wanted to make specific comments about my observations of the Tigers vs. Yankees game several hours ago (Detroit 4, Yankees 2), but I'd like to allow some semblance of a segue to anyone who has followed my blog thusfar.

I am experimenting like I often do. This experiment involves my passion for my home teams (all that be Michigan), blogging and having an attitude of superiority over all opponents regardless of any historical statistics. Hopefully my regular readers (all 2 of you that are following anyway) will enjoy the transition.

What should you expect moving forward?? In addition to my regular format and material, I will be injecting my experiment. You will be privy to my uniquely biased but thoughtful sports analysis of teams you all love, too (or at least should by your geographical up-bringing). If you are from Michigan but for some dumbass reason root for another team other than a Michigan team, you should be even more interested in what I have to say. I will be addressing you morons directly and often.

All in all, I promise to bake in the real details of the real events as I experience them, related to all that is Michigan sports. I will attend live games at their venues, attend pub viewings (that includes cable access at a friend's apartment) and even fly to remote areas. I will do all of this to bring you unique photos and videos with my color-commentary to compliment what I would have done anyway but just without the sharing thing.

Watch and envy bitches. Michigan is back on that ass!!

P.S. I apologise to family and friends for the profanity. I intend to keep it up in this blog for my freedom of expression and a possible paycheck. I will use the money to come and visit you during which time I will not use said curse words.

Manhattan

The Empire State building is looking quite patriotic dressed in good ole' Red, White and Blue. If you look far in the distance you can almost make out The Flag on The Moon.

I captured this image on my phone from The Queen of Hearts party-boat docked crossed the East River in Weehawken, NJ. I was volunteering for Disorient's party last night. I helped with pre-party set up and had a great time. I haven't heard back yet on how the party went, but you can't go wrong on a boat riding around the island of Manhattan to the tune of major NYC DJ's playing House, Dub Step and Techno music. I look forward to assisting them with some up-and-coming construction on their huge geodome to be used in future events.

Google Disorient if your are the curious type like me.

To behead, or not to behead...

Tower of London was built in the 11th century and some of it still stands today. Queen Anne Boleyn was beheaded here in 1536. The last hangings took place in 1780 on Tower Hill where I was standing when taking this shot. The grassy area was where the moat was which was filled by the Themes which flows very close by. Tower Bridge is just down the way.

Hey look kids...

...there's Big Ben, and there's Parliament.

Tower Bridge

After a rough, busy start to the London office visit, me, Tom and Gary were able to cut out a few hours early today and see some sights. Gary (my counterpart in London) was very kind to be our tour guide. Tom's goal was to see Buckingham Palace...done. My goal was to see Big Ben...check. Gary's tour included many more famous sites which were accompanied by his knowledgeable commentary.

Shoreditch

This was taken from the front entrance of the hotel in the Shoreditch area of London. It stopped raining, but regardless there are many cyclists and motor bikers...so much so that I felt it worth mentioning there are many, rain or not.

Heathrow

Once I landed and made it out to the car service I noticed this squad car. BMWs, Mercedes Benzs, Ford Fiestas and Volvos seem very popular vehicles here. You always know they drive on the left and the wheel is on the right, but until I saw it in person it was just an oddity to me.
